Mahi Maioro Professionals visit British Columbia to collaborate on indigenous knowledge in sustainability

In August, 2023 Mahi Maioro professionals visited Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada to meet with collaborators on the Balance Co-Lab research project, which aims to put indigenous knowledge at the forefront of decision-making within traditional territories. Mahi Maioro spent one day at the University of Victoria presenting case studies from Aotearoa, New Zealand, followed by a day at T'Sou-Ke Nation learning from elders on the island.
