Dr Kēpa Morgan was awarded Distinguished Fellow of Engineering New Zealand at an awards dinner at New Zealand Parliament on Friday, 24 March.
Kēpa was awarded "in recognition of his contribution towards including Māori culture (tikanga) and Māori knowledge (matauranga) into engineering education, and in establishing ways in which Māori can succeed in delivering engineering to the benefit of the wider community."
