Mahi Maioro have launched a live tool for monitoring the mauri of the Upper Waikato in Ngā Rua Hu Wai o Tahu Matua in the upper Waikato, in partnership with Te Arawa River Iwi Trust (TARIT).
The tool combined live water quality sensing tools and cultural monitoring information from a dedicated Waiora app (designed by others) to form an understanding of the mauri of the ecosystem and the iwi associated with the upper Waikato.
